Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I’m a Target lady!

    I just finished decorating my grandson’s nursery with Target accessories. I stared with a boy’s lamp and used the shade as my inspiration for the rest of the room!

    I’m a target lady!!!
    A few months ago we got a faux leather storage ottoman for some of my toddlers toys. It’s affordable, fits into our decor, and doesn’t slam down on his little fingers when he closes it. It was a great purchase all around!

    Favorite find – hmmm – thats hard. I think one is a pair of blue pointy toe flats that were like a $1.99 when I was visiting Mobile and the second $1 tights for my baby girl, they have had them atleast the last two years around halloween in black, orange, green, and purple.

    I’m a Target lady!
    Although I love every purchase I make at this fine store, I particularly love a good trip through the dollar bins. I’ve scored some awesome dog costumes as well as some more practical (and cute) bowls and such.

    I’m a TARGET LADY!

    My favorite Target scores have to be the 2/$1 glittery snowflake ornaments I got for my tree last year. This year Target has even more colors to choose from!

    “I AM A TARGET LADY!!!” I can hardly contain my own excitement over this giveaway. I LOVE Target, their clothes, shoes, fabulous home decor, & their organizing items, like those wonderful cubby cubicle squares! I scored an upright 5 drawer dresser years ago for only $99!

    I’m a Target Lady!

    I have actually bought a lot of items I love at Target, but the one that stands out the most would have to be my white cupcake tree. I use it almost every year for my daughter’s birthday. Instead of getting her a traditional birthday cake
    we have a tradition of decorating cupcakes to match whatever theme of party she is having. We also use it to display candles, fruit, and candy dishes.

    I’M A TARGET LADY!

    The best thing I ever got from Target was a gift to me after my first trip there with my friend and her mom. I had admired a froggy bath mat (I have a little frog obsession) and she remembered and bought it for me. I was so touched at her nice gesture.

    I”M A TARGET LADY! I recently bought two acrylic ball stacked lamps for 50 bucks! The comparable lamps went all the way to $420!! I love it!

    I’m a Target Lady!
    In college, when I was really poor, Target was my excuse to shop. I’d go in and wander through the end caps trying to find great sale items. This is how I slowly filled my college apartment with awesome finds. Today, I still shop at Target any chance I get. My husband gets so frustrated that I can wander for hours without actually purchasing anything. The electronics department has saved our marriage more than once!

    I love everything about Target…and cannot seem to get out of that store without spending a minimum of $150 each time. Ugh! ;)

    After I started reading your blog, my roommate and I revamped (mostly through a paint job) our bathroom. And my favorite purchase(s) from Target has been the the shower curtain and window drape we purchased to compliment our hardwork!

    I’m a Target lady!

    My husband never holds my hand as tight as he does on a Target run. Normally, I’m a very strict list kinda gal, however, something about that red and white bullseye makes run around yelling things like “oh but over here there’s more!” and “just let me look; if you let me look I promise not to buy it!” Even for things like baby clothes and kitchen gadgets that we in no way need. =)

    My fav Target purchase is the $5 full-length mirror I bought to put up in my daughter’s playroom earlier this year. She and I both love playing dress-up with it!

    I’m a Target Lady! I just bought some baskets that are made to the correct dimensions to hold DVDs. Now I don’t have to stare at mismatched ugliness in my entertainment center and it’s a lot easier to keep organized.

    I’m a Target lady! My favorite thing from Target is my son’s bedspread. It was something like 70% off and it still looks awesome 4 years later.
