Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I’M A TARGET LADY!

    I should have taken stock in Target. I’m there at least weekly. Too many favorites, its hard to keep track. I’ll say either the free standing full length mirror for $60 or all the crazy amounts of rubbermaid totes we got for $3 each. But I especially love their seasonal/holiday aisles!

    One of my favorite things that I got from Target is a super chic shower curtain for my guest bathroom. I always get complements on it!

    I’M A TARGET LADY!!

    I can’t pick ONE item from Target, because I go there pretty often and love it all but if i had to pick one item, i’d say the comforter I bought for mother’s room. I know it didn’t go to my house but she hadn’t bought a new comforter in years and was so thrilled to get a new one. She loves it and it’s soft and luxurious! :)

    I absolutely love the oversized brushed nickel wall clock I got from there. I can read it from the bed with out my glasses on it’s fabulous!

    My favorite thing I’ve ever bought from Target is a set of full size sheets I bought myself after college. 6 years later they still look like new and are super soft!

    I’M A TARGET LADY!!

    Target is my go-to spot for any home necessities. I went there a few weeks ago looking for a small simple cake stand to hold a pretty pink cake that I was making for my darling’s baptism luncheon. Of course, I found the perfect glass pedestal and only paid $7.99! Score! Can you imagine how many cake stands I could get with this gift card?! I think my mind just exploded. :)

    “I’m a Target Lady!!!” We do not have a Target in the town I live (which is SO sad), so the closet one is about 45 minutes away – and everytime we get the chance, that is the FIRST place we go when we get into that town!! I just love that they have a variety of things that you don’t find in other stores!! And, their prices are SO great!! :)

    I’m a Target lady! Just last week I scored a throw blanket, in perfect fall colors. It was the last one left, marked down from $30 to $5!!! It makes our ugly hand-me-down couch look SO much more fun and festive!

    I love the throw rug I bought for $2.50 because it was perfect and on clearance. And I love the white spherical soap dispenser because it seems so classic. And I love the A and Z bookends because I enjoy sneaking typography into my decor.

    I’M A TARGET LADY!
    My most recent amazing Target buy was an outdoor rug for our front porch for $11. I was totally jazzed about the purchase as I had been trying to get one around $20…I then unrolled the rug on the porch to reveal a small matching doormat. Two rugs for $11!

    I’m a Target Lady! Who doesn’t love Target!? The best find I ever walked away with was — there are too mnay to count! I make a beeline for the aisle endcaps and rummage through the clearance racks every time! You never know what kind of good deals are hiding in there!

    About 10 years ago I bought a set of coffee cups and soup bowls at target that I found on one of the end caps for a little bit more then free. Did I need coffee cups and soup bowls? No, but I LOVED the design, and I think it’s the only unnecessary purchase I’ve ever made that I still use/display in my home to this day.

    My favorite items from target are the Christmas Category. Maybe because Christmas is right around the corner, but I love all the wonderful festive decor I get there. Every year I get excited to pull out the bargains I bought at the after Christmas sale in the previous year. Yeah Target!

    I’m a Target Lady!

    Target is one of my favorite go-to destinations, especially for kitchen and decorating accessories as well as bedding…there’s not much, in fact, that I’m not a prime target audience for. One of my prize purchases: a simple white tray that I will line with wine bottle corks (been collecting them for some time)and will give away as a gift. (That is if I decide I can part with it.)

    Happy Birthday!

    When I was a poor college student, I found this great little foldable chess table at Target. I walked out of the store originally without it, but made a trip back to pick it up. It proved to be absolutely perfect for my dorm… and for my first apartment, our first home after we got married, our Wii at our second house, and now it’s waiting for my son to grow up just a smidge to have as a play table. It also is excellent for playing chess too.

    I just love our son’s bedding! It’s the rocketship pattern from Dwell Studio. It was the inspiration for his outerspace robot themed room. My husband is a Star Wars geek – so it’s the room he dreamed of when he was a kid.
