Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I am so a TARGET LADY!!! I love them. The thing I want to buy — and will go buy this week — is the mirror in their add. super cute and only $15! The biggest score? Hm, probably all the blankets I buy there, we have tons of throws around our house, I love to curl up with a cuddly blanket and I get most of them at Target!

    I’m a Target Lady!!!
    I have young kids… I also have a Weimeraner, Mona, who is a CHAMPION counter surfer. My annual Christmas letter includes a list of things Mona has stolen and eaten/destroyed while we’re not home. When my second daughter was born I needed a drying rack for bottles, but I knew I couldn’t even leave clean bottles out on the counter. My mom and I found the perfect solution at Target: a huge copper pot to sit on the counter. I put a dish towel down in the bottom, under the bottles. The sides are high enough that Mona can’t reach in. I love it!

    I’m a Target lady because it reminds me of my mom – she worked for Target for years (and loved it) and every time I go into that store I think of her. I love it too! It is cutting edge style that I can afford. Happy Birthday. Your blog is wonderful.

    So hard to pick one that’s my favorite, but I love picking up a bunch of items for gift baskets and I’ve definitely gotten some great deals on clothes and shoes!

    Scored tons of great stuff but my favorite would be the gold satin pillow for 4 dollars. It now sits in my navy blue velvet wing back chair!

    I’m a TARGET lady!!!!!!! Target is my go to store for almost everything!!!! The last great thing I scored there were clothes, a cream cardigan and long black cardigan that are big staples in my wardrobe!!!!!!!

    I am a target lady, fo’ sho’…
    Picking a favorite is really hard. I do remember coming out once during a huge clearance sale, with several outfits, for under $25! That was crazy.
    Gotta love Tar-jay.

    I’M A TARGET LADY! I’ve found lots of scores at Target – a luxurious bath towel for $2.00, shower curtains for $4.99 (bought several so I could cut up the extras to make curtains), and (my favorite) mirrored bedside tables for $25. I shop their clearances almost exclusively and am patient enough to wait for a sale. (I’ve lost some good items by waiting, but I’m CHEAP.)

    My favorite thing from Target is a wall pot rack that I placed in the kitchen entry. I use the hooks for coats and bags and cookbooks go on the shelf.

    I’m a TARGET lady! I go there frequently to kill time with my kids in the morning. My best find of all time is probably a metallic brown flat that I actually bought two pair of after I loved the first pair SO much!

    I’m a Target Lady! I always go into Target for one item and leave with more because I just can’t get enough of their style-I love it! My best score was when I found this beautiful heavy duty shower curtain that I used to reupholster all 6 of my dining room chairs for only $30!! I couldn’t find the perfect fabric for them anywhere but I knew Target would have something I would end up loving and they did!

    I’m a Target Lady! I love the clearance shelves. When one pops up and I see the little red sticker I get very excited! I got my daughters Dora bike for 50% off!

    I’m a Target Lady, and the best thing I scored at Target was a beautiful green vase that I found on clearance in the global bazaar section. I turned it into a fabulous lamp for my office! I just wish I had gotten more of them.

    I’M A TARGET LADY! So many target purchases to choose from but my most recent fav is a woven storage cube with lid that I put in my kitchen that holds all of my placemats, tablecloths, napkins, etc… Now they are all within reach and I use them more often than when I had to dig for them in the closet.

    We’re a Target Family!!!!!! My husband is the number one Target score person. He is the red clearance tag master!! Our best score to date was mine though. We had been waiting all summer long for this particular fountain to go on sale and it was originally over 200.00 dollars and there were only two left and we’d go back and check but it was never low enough for our tight budget. He is a bargain hound!!!!!!!! “No, lower still” he’d say. It was down to 90.00 and he was like “nope!” Yikes!!!! I called him on a jaunt there one day to get snacks for the kids and to my amazement it HAD dropped…to 62.00!!!!! He said “Get it!” Even the check out clerk was amazed. He knew the original price! It looks gorgeous in out back yard. There are many more finds that all of my family has found, including our two boys who know when a toy is on “price cut!!!!” but there is only so much time in the day…That one was a nail biter though…Have a great day!

    Favorite thing from Target? Too much to even ponder, but I’ve been really getting in to those fold-out fabric boxes for organization & storage. I’m a clutter queen, and trying really hard to cut back and cut down. These boxes are helping me hide in plain sight what I can’t get rid of!
