I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

One of my favorite things to do on a Sunday afternoon is to go to Target with my mama, she always exclaims “I love tar-jay” and reminds me how she use to buy me the cutest baby outfits there. Over the years it has become a sort of tradition, and we have countless treasures from sweaters to picture frames to commemorate each lazy Sunday afternoon.

I’m a Target Lady! I have five of their baskets with the little chalk boards on them throughout my house. They are great for corralling my daughter’s toys because they are big, sturdy, and hold lots. We have 2 of the round ones and 3 of the square ones. An entire train set fits in one of the squares! We are military, and even if we move and one of them gets broken, we will still have a set of four. Good times!

Our most recent purchase isn’t so much of a bargain, but I love it – extension coffee table $150 – it doubles as a desk!

And although my husband and I zealously search the clearance at Target at least once a week, and have scored many maaany fabulous deals there, I think my favorite find was a black frame with a branch-and-bird painted on the glass… which I found at full price and loved so much I got it anyways. And I’m glad I did, as it quickly disappeared from their shelves!

Bonus question~The thing that stands out in my mind are the adorable Christmas stockings I bought my kids which are remarkably close to the Kids Pottery Barn stockings. Then I had my friend embroider their names on them. Oh, and I got them ON SALE after Christmas had ended. So awesome! I’m getting excited all over again just thinking about it! I LOVE ‘EM!
