I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. I’m a Target lady! My favorite thing was a wooden tv armoire that had been marked down from $149 to $79. Not sure if it was a mistake because I noticed it on regular price a year later?? It was a super find since we were poor newlyweds, fresh out of college, and our tv was previously on a huge cooler.

I LOVE Target! I’m so addicted! It’s so hard to pick one item as my favorite but I think it would be the adorable striped place mats that I got for $2 (set of 4)!! They are so cute!

Too difficult to narrow down to ONE item! A year or so ago they tried out a ‘high-end’ line of furniture of sturdy, real wood. I invested in two side tables that could have been purchased at Pottery Barn – and they’re great!

I’M A TARGET LADY!!!!! Before college, I bought this awesome purple disk lounge chair for $10. Not only was it super affordable and super cute, it made everyone want to hang out in my dorm, lounge on it and watch tv. Hurray target!

I recently was on the hunt for a cheap (but functional) French press. I had never had coffee made this way but a friend suggested I try it. So after deciding that I was gonna give it a whirl, I was disappointed to discover that the cheapest press I could find was in the $30-$40 range. The next day I went to Target to look for something completely different when I stumbled upon a French press on the clearance shelf. It was a great deal… Originally $29 marked down to $6.34!!!! Needless to say I love my new French press!

The best deal I ever found at Target was a round mirror with tiny little round mirrors inset around the edges. (Sounds weird but it is awesome!) It was $99 marked down to $29. I almost ran to the checkout.

I’M A TARGET LADY! I got a cheap blade-style coffee grinder there. It’s no burr grinder but the difference between pre-ground and blade-ground is so much bigger than the difference between blade-ground and burr-ground. Makes my morning.

I should write I am a Target-obsessed lady…. I have been able to find some amazing steals there. My top two: All 23 tables at our wedding reception were donned with candle centerpieces that were seasonal items on clearance… I ransacked every Target in the state of Texas for them!
I also have a little one just a month older than Clara, and we were able to get her crib half-price because they had marked it wrong! The squeaky wheel almost always gets the oil!!

Ok so my favorite purchased Target items were these Z-shaped stemmed martini glasses. They are classic but with a chic twist. I love them!
