I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

I’M A TARGET LADY! One of my favorite purchases is an octagon Victoria Hagan mirror from Target that I bought during my college years (on clearance for $30, no less!). It’s now hanging in the bathroom of our first home, which we happily moved into after a year of DIY renovations.

When we got married I saved up all the Target gift cards we received as gifts (we were registered there) and put them toward a KitchenAid mixer in my absolute favorite accent color–lime green. If I had it to do again I’d probably choose a neutral shade because I’m sure I’ll get sick of the green someday, but it’s been almost two years and so far I’m still loving it.

I’M A TARGET LADY: A beautiful round Capiz shell mirror that I found on clearance in their special “world market” section a couple of summers back. It was just what I’d pictured in my head and looked for to go in my entry way, so when I saw it at Target I had to have it. It’s classy and formal and I even put wreaths and accessories on it for holidays.

best target score: four 29″ barstools for $1.32! They were returns from an online purchase and rang out at $.66 a box. When I got home, I realized there were two barstools in each box.

I am a true Target Lady! Love that store so much that I probably go 3 times a week! It’s conveniently located across the street from my work. Their things are affordable and the experience of shopping there is so much fun! I can always find deals on swim suits and dinnerware! But I always come out with at least one food item. I’m a Target Lady!!! I can’t even tell you what the best thing I’ve ever scored at Target is…there are too many. Friends and family members will call my cell and ask if I’m home and I’ll say “no…” and they’ll say, “are you at Target???” and usually, the answer is yes. One cashier calls my daughter her “little friend” (not in a creepy way!) and greets her by name…other cashiers will comment on how big the baby’s getting. When the guy (well, the barista, if you want to get technical) at my Target’s Starbucks sees me coming, he grabs a venti cup and starts filling it up with caffeinated goodness for me. I really love my Target…I go through phases where I think maybe I shouldn’t go there so much, but I always end up going back. I cannot stay away! I’m definitely a Target Lady :)

I’m a Target Lady!!! My most favorite item my husband and I have ever gotten there is our Ninja!! Its a blender/food processor/shake maker/ etc extraordinaire!! It is amazing. We use it almost every night, whether its salsa, a protein shake, or just chopping up veggies. I LOVE IT!!

I’M A TARGET LADY! I scored a sweet black collared dress there with a lovely lace trim at the bottom. It’s slightly old fashioned, very feminine, and somewhat European. It makes me want to ride a bike in Italy, eat gelato, and do fist pumps and leg kicks on a gondola ride all through Venice. I love it because it is functional and stylish. It’s tie at the waste accentuates the smallest part of the body, a black dress is always in style, and it is a whole outfit so you don’t have to stand in the closet trying to match things together. It’s fabulous!
