I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. My favorite thing I scored at target was metal flasks in the men’s gift section several years ago. They were $10 a piece and I took them all to a trophy shop and had them engraved with my friend’s nicknames and gave them out as Christmas gifts. Since I had about 15 engraved, I only paid about $2 a piece. You can’t get a better customized gift for only $12!

I go there, i’d say a good 5 times a week! The best thing I have scored was a set of 10 shadow box frames for $29. Its been over two years ago and I still hope i’ll pass by a similar set to go on my gallery wall at home! But i’d say 60% of my wardrobe and home accessories are from there!

I would have to say there isn’t one specific thing scored at Target that comes to mind but rather the smorgasbord of availability. To be able to go to one location to get everything is pretty awesome. However I’ve noticed every time I go, even with a list, I find something else extra…… that just has to be thrown into my basket.

My best deal EVER at Target was this super awesome outdoor fireplace, which originally cost $325 and I got it on clearance for $20! Its huge and wood-burning, we use it for smores and campfires and it looks like real stone. SO AWESOME. I MISS THE GARDEN SECTION AT TARGET *sniff*
