Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to see who won!***

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

Target 100 Hundred

Can you handle that enthusiasm?

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

Target Sabrina Soto

But enough chitchat. Here’s how you can score the hundy dolla gift card:

  • PRIZE: A hundred beans (in gift cards form) to spend at Target!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “I’M A TARGET LADY” (or “I’M A TARGET GENTLEMAN” if you’re rocking a Y chromosome like me) and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us about your favorite item that you’ve ever scored at Target. Do you love it because it’s especially stylish? Especially functional? Or maybe just especially affordable?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, November 17th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

******************************

And our very lucky winner (as selected by random.org) is… Ashley A. (who’s loves and can’t stop seem to buying Target clothes). Congrats!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Target.

    I’M A TARGET LADY!

My fave Target purchase has been my mission style desk, with matching file cabinet and bookcase. That set lived with me through a gazillion hours of studying through med school – and now it’s there for me during these insane hours of studying during residency. AND they still look amazing :-) I didn’t know if the quality would enable the stuff to last so well – but they look nearly brand new and they are 5 years old!

I’m a Target Lady. I love the light green glass lamp with the shade that has a dark green vine/leaf pattern on the inside. So cool! I’m pretty sure your site pointed me to it when you admired one from the same collection. Love it!

I AM A CRAZY TARGET LADY!!

I expect my “Target tax” with each visit and joke that I should swipe my card for $100 on the way in, since I usually spend that much.

Target is a luxury trip for city-dwellers, so my favorite item(s) that I have purchased from Target are the super-stylish fabric bins for extra storage above my armoir and kitchen cupboards. Have to make use of all of that space in such a small apartment!!

I’M A TARGET LADY! How to decide? There have been so many…I guess my current favorite is just last weekend I scored a KING-sized Dwell Studio reversible comforter & shams for $2.56, originally $89.99! It was online return, marked down to 90%, and then 75% off of that. :) YAY!

I love Target – I’d live there if they’d let me :) My current favorites are the yellow flower pillows I bought a few months back. My husband was all, “I’m not sure about those…” But when I checked YHL a few weeks later there were the very same yellow pillows atop your couch! Sweet vindication :)

Our small town is 30 miles away from the nearest Target, so I feel so out of touch with what they have right now! $100 gift card would definitely make it worth packing up the kiddos and making the drive to check it out, though.

I’M A TARGET LADY!!!! The best thing I ever purchased at Target was this silver bathroom chart that was perfect for my rollers, blower dryer, straightener, curling iron, etc. I LOVED THIS THING!! We just recently moved and after many years and many moves the $15 chart (yes that is all it cost) was no longer functional so we said goodbye and will now be looking for a new one at where else…TARGET!
