Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I’M A TARGET-aholic LADY!

    It’s hard to pick just one item that has been my favorite.

    My first purchase ever at Target was a Khaki colored messenger bag that I used my freshman year in college. Oh the memories.

    And I can’t forget to mention all the sweet handbags I have scored for less than $10 each on clearance. Right now I currently have 8 in my posession (5 of which were less than $7!).

    But I think the best of all would have to be the purple iPod docking alarm clock I scored this summer for less than $13. My fiance and I were on our way back home from a road trip to Savannah and we stopped by a Target in Glynn County, GA. I found this alarm clock in the clearance section that was an online return in store (regular price online was $50!!!)

    I think its safe to say that Target is a great place for great deals. I purchased a whole lot of Christmas decor last year during their 75% off purge and I can’t wait to bust them out soon! ; D

    I’m a TARGET LADY!!!! I’m a college student and make trips to target on a daily basis. My favorite target purchase would have to be my Christmas leggings that I purchased three years ago from the Children’s department. They are such a hit! I wear them all of the time because they are comfortable and fun. Also they are very original and I have not seen anything like them at other stores. I sometimes crave target and cannot wait to have a real job someday to support my target addiction :)

    I’m a Target Lady! Best score ever: concrete Buddha head purchased in Target’s garden department for $99. It looks like something dug up from a temple ruin in Cambodia and weighs a ton.

    I love the dishes that you can find there. So cute!!! And I have some pretty sweet shower curtains and bathroom stuff from there. I’m in love with their lamps, but I’ve never got one. Maybe if I win I will finally get one!!! The tall gray glass one!!! YAY!!!

    I love the whole store. I have found great deals on kids clothes. I check the clearance rack everytime I shop. I also love their home section and holiday stuff. It is one of my favorite stores.

    My favorite purchase is a really cute Liz Lange blue maternity dress I got on clearance for $6. It is a great color and made me feel like I was just slightly smaller than a house while I was pregnant:)
