I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

Seriously, what haven’t I bought at Target? Every bit of decor in my apartment and everything in my kitchen is from Target. One of the coolest things my roommate and I bought for the apartment from there recently were some stick-on wall decals. Our living room has a cities of the world theme and we found a sticker to go over the doors leading to our patio of downtown London, complete with Big Ben and Parliament. It looks painted on.
Also, my sister can do a pretty spot on impression of SNL’s Target Lady…just sayin’. :)

Starting out as a married couple two days after Christmas was awesome, but worried about not having anything to decorate with the next year was not so awesome…So my husband and I went to Target and got all our decorations for the next year for ridiculously cheap the week after Christmas! Target is my place to totally zone out and window shop. Also, at Halloween, they had these cute little witches hats for $1 each. So for less than the cost of a goodie bag per kid, I got each one in my sons class a totally awesome Halloween take home! I even sent them to school two weeks early so they could enjoy them all Halloween season!

I’m a target lady! So many wonderful things from there. My favorite is the bi-cast leather chair we have in the living room. Comparable to big name catalogs, yet so affordable. It’s perfect for small spaces, and we use it everyday. We read to our children, watch the game, or have a comfortable place for my grandmother to sit that she can easily get in and out of. Even our dog loves it-and easy clean up!

My favorite thing(s) I have ever purchased at Target are the books called “EAT THIS not THAT” I have the normal version, the grocery store version and cook book!(Dr. Pepper Ribs are amazing!) They have helped my lose 30 lbs! And they are super fun to read…you’ll be shocked how many calories you are putting into you mouth!
