Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to see who won!***

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

Target 100 Hundred

Can you handle that enthusiasm?

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

Target Sabrina Soto

But enough chitchat. Here’s how you can score the hundy dolla gift card:

  • PRIZE: A hundred beans (in gift cards form) to spend at Target!
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “I’M A TARGET LADY” (or “I’M A TARGET GENTLEMAN” if you’re rocking a Y chromosome like me) and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us about your favorite item that you’ve ever scored at Target. Do you love it because it’s especially stylish? Especially functional? Or maybe just especially affordable?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, November 17th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

******************************

And our very lucky winner (as selected by random.org) is… Ashley A. (who’s loves and can’t stop seem to buying Target clothes). Congrats!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Target.

    I’m a Target Lady!

Last Black Friday I scored the Friends Collection on sale (a saved for item that I was able to keep about half of the money saved!). It has been my husband and my favorite thing to do on Friday nights: eat homemade pizza, watch Friends, and catch up on our weeks.

I love everything I get at Target. I would have to say my favorite has been my drinking glasses. they’re delicate and lacy, while being strong and utilitarian!

I’M A TARGET LADY! And my favorite purchase from target so far has got to be my $1 bright green mixing bowl that I purchased about 5 years ago. My husband loves it SO much and it has managed to stick with us through three apartments and two states. We have nicer (more expensive) ones now, but my husband still likes this one best:)

I scored our dining room table (solid wood, planked top, from the gold mine “Home Event” they had a few years back) for $38! Deal of the century for sure.

I’M A TARGET LADY!!! I’ve found so many great things there over the years, my latest favorite is a duvet cover with a pretty damask pattern in light blue. It makes the guest room look so fresh and cozy!

Our first apartment had NO storage and I picked up a (I don’t even know what to call it!) piece for extra countertop/cabinet space in the kitchen. It was clearance priced for hardly any money and has made 3 moves with us–one of them overseas. Best put-it-together-yourself piece of furniture I ever bought!

Hard to say what my favorite Target purchase is, there are so many!! On my last trip though I got these tomato basil crackers from Archer’s Farms that were amazing, they were gone by the time I got home. And I love my storage ottoman. And half my clothes/shoes come from there.

I’M A TARGET LADY…I got the most adorable wooden kitchen set a few years back, very comparable to PB; however, the price was extremely affordable…they were great pieces that the kids played with all the time….and let’s not kid ourselves, we can always find something fun in the $1 spot:)

Seriously, it is dangerous that there’s a Target 5 minutes from my work – I’m in there multiple lunch breaks a week. I think my favorite score was a great silvery/mirrored lamp, complete with drum shade, that I picked up for $5!

Oh, I’m a Target Lady for sure. So much of one, in fact, that I don’t think I could pick any one Target purchase as my favorite. Although I am really loving the purse I’m using right now, from their Liberty of London collection. Roomy, floral-printed, just this side of old lady, and oh, yeah, on clearance. Win.

Every year I hit the after Christmas clearance sale at Target. The treasures I’ve found there are probably my favorites. I live in a really small rural town in Texas. We’re about 30 minutes from the nearest Super Target AKA civilization. Every Friday night we load up our little ones and drive into town and make our weekly Target run. I know life has changed for us when the highlight of our week and weekend is our trip to Target.

I bought a ruffled sundress last June from the Liberty of London collection, gray with a peacock feather print, that I wore almost CONSTANTLY this summer and got countless compliments. It was definitely less than $50 and my cost per wear must be down to about 8 cents!

I’m a target lady! I literally go to target two-three times a week now with an almost 7 month old little boy at home. My favorite items I have ever gotten at Target are numerous pairs of shoes, clearance baby clothes, and lots of cute knick knacks for my son’s nursery. Target is my favorite store and literally 2 miles from my house. Perfection!
