I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. No really, I am. I go to Target at least once a week, whether I need to or not. My very best purchase was a set of dishes I bought several years ago….they were considered Christmas merchandise even though the only thing Christmas-y about them was that they were red. So, I was able to get them 75% off at an after Christmas sale, so the whole set cost me less than $25 and I have been using them as my day-to day dishes for the past 6 years!

I was just there last week and found a large canvas print (like 4’x2′) with a teal and lime green print that will match my baby boy’s room perfectly. I’ve been looking for something for weeks for that room and finally found something. The clencher is that it was originally $50 on sale for $7!! Can’t beat that!

It’s so hard to pick JUST one item that is my favorite from Target since I stop there 2-5 times a week. No joke! It’s sad I know. However, my favorite item that I use everyday has tobe my red Fieldcrest duvet cover that I scored mega on sale after the holidays for $20!!! I love it because the color is so rich, the fabric feels absolutely wonderful and I got a fantastic deal on it. Can’t beat that!
