Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I can’t pick a favorite item from Target. I just love the days I go in, hoping just to buy something simple like shampoo, and walking out with two picture frames, three shirts, a new pair of running shorts, a toy for my dog, and…oh, wait, what was the reason I had to go to Target?

    I’m a Target lady! I have had too many great finds to say I have only one, but my latest and greatest were two matching ribbed chenille turquoise rugs that matched my girl’s room perfectly – on clearance for $3.75 apiece! score!

    Happy Birthday!! All my family/friends laugh at me, because of my weekly runs to Target. I LOVE to scope out there end-caps and see all their newly marked clearance! I’ve found everything from frames to furniture for a fraction of the original price!! Yes please! :)

    My favorite thing purchased at Target is by far the Dwell Studios comforter I snagged for our spare bedroom: brown birds with rust orange filligree and flowers. Super modern and stylish!

    Favorite item of all time from Target: XBOX 360! I let my husband put it on our wedding registry on a whim (never thinking anyone would buy it for us). It was a score since we didn’t have to pay for it :)

    I got the cutest entry table for near our front door a couple of months ago, not to mention all the frames, holiday decor and more. I live about a block away from one, so i just cant help myself….hehehe

    I’m a Target Lady!! My favorite Target purchase would have to be a wooden sign that says “and they lived happily ever after”. It hangs right under our engagement picture and wedding invitation… I love it!

    Quite honestly, the best thing I’ve ever gotten there has nothing to do with home furnishings (though I do have a lot of them since our wedding registry was there!). It’s their diapers. They’re cheap and really work! Ah, but not cheap enough…which is why I’ll be switching to cloths come March with baby #2!

    I don’t know about favorite…. there are so many things we use on a regular basis that we got there. I’m still loving my lunchbox that I got there a couple of months ago and every one always asks where I got it!

    I scored the pillows for our bed: 2 for display with standard shams, 1 memory foam for me and a travel sized for my husband all for under $10.00 – ending a 4 year pillow feud in August :)

    I’m a Target Lady!!!
    I love that I can go to Target and give my kids a totally new bedroom (linens, matching lamps and wall art) for super cheap. I also love the lamps I’ve gotten there for our home. My hubby loved the Chicago Cubs wall art that I found for him last year. And my kids think the slushies in the snack bar totally ROCK! LOL

    I bought a red skirt there in college for my first internship that looks sooo much more expensive than it actually was and I get compliments on it every time I wear it (8 years later I am still wearning it!)
