Fab Freebie: The Royal Treatment

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

According to random.org, the royal treatment is going to Cathleen Pearson (who feels bad for Kate’s balding husband). Congrats!

No, not those royals. The majesty behind this giveaway comes from Royal Design Studio, whose stellar stencils will turn your walls into a stylish statement piece (but not in the way that a certain hat made a statement on a certain princess’ head recently). We’re crazy inspired by all of the stylish patterns and fresh color combos they showcase, and one of you will score $100 towards anything you find on their site. Enough chatter – feast your eyes on these babies (Sherry’s over the moon for the one on the top right) and be sure to head over their website for more eye candy.

Royal Design Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $100 gift card to Royal Design Studio
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … fess up, were you totally caught up in Royal Wedding mania? Did you get up early to watch the festivities? Have you been chatting about the dress, kisses, and hats ever since? Or were you on the other end of the spectrum and worked hard to avoid the hubbub?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, May 11th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Anywhere in the world!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT! And I totally want some of this super awesome wallpaper so I can do the back of a bookcase and/or a dining hutch. LOVE IT!

I was on a cruise with my hubby the day of the royal wedding, but we watched it on the ‘cruise tv’ when they re-ran it at 9am.

    I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT!!!
    (I’ve been a fan for a very long time….and I’m about to re-do my craft/step-son’s room)

Totally avoided the hubbub….although, I did watch two teeny tiny minutes of the wedding once I heard whose dress she wore! I wanted to see it!

Oh, and total side note-LOVE the blog. I’m FROM Atlanta, and totally miss it. I’m fairly convinced we would have been pretty close to besties if we would have met while I lived in Atlanta.

I did my best to avoid anything and everything about THE WEDDING. But still couldn’t wait to see Kate’s dress. But other than that, I couldn’t have cared less :-)

I want the royal treatment! I didn’t get into it, except when I got up at 5 a.m. to feed our twins, I must confess I turned the TV on. Something more interesting than the normal darkened-room feeding session.

I was up that early to drive 5 hours to my best friend’s wedding weekend, so I actually caught the dress moment live and then lived vicariously through Twitter streams on my iPhone while in the car. Thank you, technology!

As far as the royal wedding goes, I am always up for a wedding but I wasn’t going to get up at 5am to watch it on TV. I just hope the new couple has a great marriage and a happy life.

And yes I totally watched the royal wedding. I recorded it and speed watched it when I got home from work that day. Loved her dress, thought the whole thing was beautiful and a nice happy news day in a long series of serious, sad, and upsetting news days lately.

I dvr’d the wedding and watched it the next morning. Thank goodness, because it was looooooooong. Coincidentally, it was the same day as my daughter’s second birthday and her name is Kate, so my parents got her a little commemorative book for her birthday!
    P.s. LOVED the dress!

    I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT!

I fell in love with every detail of the Royal Wedding. I swooned over Prince William’s grin, marveled at how princess-perfect Kate looked in that dress, and giggled to see the happy couple share those little exchanges that showed they are normal people beneath all the pomp and circumstance. The whole event was a fairy tale wedding come true, and it was beautiful!

I didn’t get too involved in the Royal Wedding. I was, however, pleasantly surprised when Kate chose to wear Alexander McQueen, and decided to evoke Grace Kelly’s wedding dress. I grew up in Philadelphia and my Grandmother used to tell me with great pride that a real live Princess came from our city. Loved Grandma :)

    “I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT!”

I Clicked through the photos the next day just so I could get a look a the crazy hats. My 16 year old son however wanted to go to Union Station in KC to watch it at 4 am. He’s telling me this on Thursday evening. No, I said. You have zero business downtown at 4 am and you have school the next day. He continued to make his case, “it’s only $4 to get in and all of the exhibits will be open… I can go to Science City… We want to watch the wedding…” WAIT A MINUTE, hold the phone. I finally caught on and asked “who’s the girl you’re going with?” He finally admitted it wasn’t his idea.

He kept insisting that it would be 4 am Saturday so I said we’d talk about it tomorrow. Needless to say it didn’t come up again.

    I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT!

I was much too lazy to get up that early to watch the wedding and am too behind/ahead in technology to own a DVR/not own a VCR in order to record the event. I did however catch some of the balcony kiss while eating breakfast since they had a handy little countdown counter telling me the kiss on the balcony was coming up in 6 minutes and 24 seconds. I just lingered over my oatmeal long enough to catch that and turned it off.
