I confess, I definitely did get excited about the royal wedding…like the media described it: it was a modern day fairytale! I’m a hopeless romantic, so I loved every minute of it. I had to be up at 5am for work anyway, so before I left the house I caught a few minutes of Kate getting out of the car and getting ready to walk down the aisle with her dad. Once I got to work I turned it on too….and then later watched all of the recaps. I loved her dress; it was gorgeous!! :)

Of course I was interested in the dress but didn’t have the time to induldge in too many of the details or watch the wedding at all…too much going on with 2 kids!!! Although I do find the time to check in on the two of you and your cool projects :) I’m pshyched about the patio project and CAN NOT wait to see get all the details!!

My six year old daughter wakes early every morning…that morning I groggily asked if she wanted to watch a prince and princess get married. Her eyes got as wide as saucers and said ” There is a real life prince and princess?! Where is that kingdom?!”. Gotta love little ones!

I woke up at 3:30 a.m., poured myself a glass of Pepsi Max, and got on FB & twitter when all the excitement began. Once it got to be an earlier hour, I woke up my daughter to see the first kiss, and then I rewound it so that she could the princess in her gown. A moment to remember :)

i was so caught up in the Royal Wedding …once I watched the Lifetime movie based on the famous couple. I had it on all day in my classroom ( i teach high school english), and if my kids asked why we were watching this i told them it was British and this is a British literature class after all.
i spent my free period watching the entire 1:10min long ceremony and reading all about the day!
i LOVE her wonderful details on the lace of her dress AND her beautiful earrings
and i still feel cheated that i never saw that second balcony kiss.
to top it all off, i even thought of joining the Pippa’s Butt Fan Club on facebook simply to still be a part of that magical moment in history!!

You bet I watched the wedding! I went to an “ugly bridesmaids dress” party where we had to dress up in the worst bridesmaids dress we had ever worn.
