I absolutely got caught up with the Royal Wedding! I had to be up at 5:00 am that day anyhow, so I cheerfully got up at 3:00 am to watch the wedding and hoopla. But I was so tired that when I went to work (at a courthouse – I’m an attorney) I realized that I had on black pants and a navy blue jacket! Yikes! My excuse was that I was watching the royal wedding – and people understood!

I was going to PVR the wedding, but my 12 yr old step-daughter wanted to get up and watch it. So we did! It was super fun even though I was totally tired the rest of the day, but worth it to know that someday my step-daughter will remember “the day she got up at 4AM to watch the royal wedding with her step-mom” !
