Fab Freebie: The Royal Treatment

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

According to random.org, the royal treatment is going to Cathleen Pearson (who feels bad for Kate’s balding husband). Congrats!

No, not those royals. The majesty behind this giveaway comes from Royal Design Studio, whose stellar stencils will turn your walls into a stylish statement piece (but not in the way that a certain hat made a statement on a certain princess’ head recently). We’re crazy inspired by all of the stylish patterns and fresh color combos they showcase, and one of you will score $100 towards anything you find on their site. Enough chatter – feast your eyes on these babies (Sherry’s over the moon for the one on the top right) and be sure to head over their website for more eye candy.

Royal Design Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $100 gift card to Royal Design Studio
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … fess up, were you totally caught up in Royal Wedding mania? Did you get up early to watch the festivities? Have you been chatting about the dress, kisses, and hats ever since? Or were you on the other end of the spectrum and worked hard to avoid the hubbub?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, May 11th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Anywhere in the world!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

    I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT!

I was flying to San Francisco with my husband the morning of the Royal Wedding so we got to watch it at 6am! It was fun to see the dress and everyone’s outfits.

I happily ignored all the “day off” wedding action, but did go online to check out the dress and guests’ fashions.

I WANT the royal treatment!!!! Badly. I think I am going to try to make some of my own window treatment fabric after striking out too many times, and these stencils are just the thing! Lovely. Perfect. On burlap. In green. I was split about the royal wedding – it was fun to see bits. What I’m really looking forward to is the trickle down fashion influence that doesn’t bare all. Not everyone wants to be half-naked…and certainly not everyone wants to see me as such!

“I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT!” – No need for me to get up early. It was around noon over here. I did watch during my lunch-break at work though. It was nice, but I didn’t melt from all the romance. And I was really disappointed from he kiss.

I’m a big fan of the grumpy flowergirl Grace van Cutsem, though. http://www.fnp.de/sixcms/media.php/rmn01.a.7225.de/thumbnail_514/fnp_import_vm_ohrenzu0205_1.jpg

Poor thing, so overwhelmed from all the hubbub. But she still makes me smile. Kids are just so honest in how they act.

A few of my girlfriends and I dressed up in old old prom dresses and wore dollar store tiaras/diamond earrings and drank wine out of champagne glasses while we watched it (where we had DVR’d it)
and the actual morning of at work (i’m a nanny in bonair, actually!), the mom, grandmother , the little girl i watch and her cousin and aunt all had scones for breakfast and wore princess crowns and drank tea out of the fine china to watch together! both amazing extravagant times.. i was very into it!!! anndddd i even went out and bought a royal wedding special edition magazine afterward!

I want the royal treatment! I set an alarm so I could get up in the middle of the night and watch the ceremony…there are only so many moments in life where people can ask “where were you when…” and I figured it was a change of pace being a happy moment rather than awful news blasted all over the media. I thought it was beautiful! =)
