Fab Freebie: The Royal Treatment

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

According to random.org, the royal treatment is going to Cathleen Pearson (who feels bad for Kate’s balding husband). Congrats!

No, not those royals. The majesty behind this giveaway comes from Royal Design Studio, whose stellar stencils will turn your walls into a stylish statement piece (but not in the way that a certain hat made a statement on a certain princess’ head recently). We’re crazy inspired by all of the stylish patterns and fresh color combos they showcase, and one of you will score $100 towards anything you find on their site. Enough chatter – feast your eyes on these babies (Sherry’s over the moon for the one on the top right) and be sure to head over their website for more eye candy.

Royal Design Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $100 gift card to Royal Design Studio
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … fess up, were you totally caught up in Royal Wedding mania? Did you get up early to watch the festivities? Have you been chatting about the dress, kisses, and hats ever since? Or were you on the other end of the spectrum and worked hard to avoid the hubbub?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, May 11th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Anywhere in the world!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

    I want the Royal Treatment!

I’m getting married in October and my fiance and I were both up at 4am glued to our TV, watching the whole shindig.

I didn’t get up early, but did DVR the wedding festivities and watched it that evening. It was great to fast forward through the slow parts of the coverage!

I want the royal treatment! I was interested… but waited until a decent hour to watch the ceremony with my three-year-old daughter, who was thrilled to see a ‘princess wedding’.

    I want the royal treatment…

I confess I still don’t even know what the Certain Hat looks like. I don’t have a TV and I don’t usually read the entertainment magazines, so I basically missed the whole shebang. Oh well!

I was up for work anyway…but work involves teaching British Literature, so heck yes I watched! Loved both of Kate’s…ah, Catherine’s…dresses. Loved the throwback and classiness of it all.

    I WANT THE ROYAL TREATMENT!

I didn’t pay too much attention to the royal wedding. Didn’t seek it out, didn’t try to avoid it. Actually, I was more fascinated by the fact that it was such a big deal for so many people around the world. I had no idea that everyone was going to stay up late to watch it!

I did record the festivities, so that I could fast-forward and watch only the parts I wanted to – the bride, mostly, and the vows. But, I’m a little embarrassed about it in all honesty!

I confess, I recorded it on the DVR so I didn’t have to wake up early and I could fast forward to all the good parts. Not to mention I looked up all the fashion on line, watched the specials on it. I am a total sucker for fairy tail endings, weddings and all things royal!

I am british, and live in the UK, i set my alarm for 8am in the morning, stuck BBC1 on and watched it from the beginning, with news reporters talking about the dress, and the jewels etc – i watched it right through until about 6pm, i gradually moved from the bed to the lounge getting dressed to run and take the dogs out once they had kissed.. i couldnt miss the kiss! – and we got 2 of them! woo!
Loved the wedding, it made me feel very patriotic!
