In honor of Father’s Day (yes, I realize it was yesterday, but why not keep the celebration alive?) we’re giving away – you guessed it – TOOLS. But these particular tools are Ryobi TEK4 tools, a series of ten cordless gadgets that look pretty darn sleek, are crazy durable, and run on a long-lasting 4V rechargeable battery. And come to think of it, ladies would look just as good slinging these guys (so they’re not just for dads). We picked our three most go-to devices from the TEK4 line and are giving them (plus an extra battery and charger) to one lucky guy or gal this week. I live about six hours from my parents and sister, so I called my dad in the morning to wish him a happy father’s day. Oh and of course a card was sent to arrive by Sunday!
Mom and sister took dad to a casino in PA for the weekend. I got text messages from them through out the day, so we can pretend I was there too!

Like all big days in our family, we celebrated with a Sunday Night Dinner. Everyone was there, there was fabulous food, and a good time was had!

TEK ME! I live 4 hours away so I sent my dad a card and Bass Pro Shop gift card, and gave him a call. I talked with my husband about how in the future I image our “future” children running down the hall and jumping on us on fathers day. His father wasn’t around, I reassured him that I knew he would be an amazing dad.

Dad and I spent the day at Fenway Park where we saw the Sox win, the Stanley Cup threw the first pitch, and a special first-time ever walk on the field for all dads in attendance…it was great…only to be topped by a Tek freebie :)

Dad/hubby got breakfast in bed made/burned by the kids, assorted homemade presents & cards, some garden tools and an afternoon movie with the kids(new xmen movie, his pick) and pizza dinner at his fav pizza place. Early bedtime too. lol

Tek ME!!! My dad took my siblings and our families to a place called Flint Oak. It’s basically a beautiful shooting range that looks more like a golf course. The rooms don’t have TVs or telephones, so we fished and swam and ate a TON. It was a great Father’s Day weekend!
