In honor of Father’s Day (yes, I realize it was yesterday, but why not keep the celebration alive?) we’re giving away – you guessed it – TOOLS. But these particular tools are Ryobi TEK4 tools, a series of ten cordless gadgets that look pretty darn sleek, are crazy durable, and run on a long-lasting 4V rechargeable battery. And come to think of it, ladies would look just as good slinging these guys (so they’re not just for dads). We picked our three most go-to devices from the TEK4 line and are giving them (plus an extra battery and charger) to one lucky guy or gal this week. TEK ME! Woke up and ate breakfast with my hubby, son and my parents…even went to Lowe’s to look at some tools similar to the ones being given away!! Then we grilled outside for dinner. All in all a good day for the boys!

It was my husband’s first Dad-to-be father’s day. So I made pulled pork sandwiches (thought that was a Manly meal) and oreo truffles! They are the best tasting treat you can imagine. Both baby G and Parker the puppy gave him a card! Love that Hallmark carries Father’s day cards from the pooch.

We purchased a storage bed from PBteen on Craigslist to fit under my twins loft bed. It was 1/2 inch too big to fit a dresser under it too. But not after my husband got a hold of it with his rip saw! We sawed that sucker right in half and reattached it! Looks great and noone would know the difference!! Oh yeah, it retails for $699 (see below). We got it for $100 – Love that!!!
