In honor of Father’s Day (yes, I realize it was yesterday, but why not keep the celebration alive?) we’re giving away – you guessed it – TOOLS. But these particular tools are Ryobi TEK4 tools, a series of ten cordless gadgets that look pretty darn sleek, are crazy durable, and run on a long-lasting 4V rechargeable battery. And come to think of it, ladies would look just as good slinging these guys (so they’re not just for dads). We picked our three most go-to devices from the TEK4 line and are giving them (plus an extra battery and charger) to one lucky guy or gal this week. Our Father’s Day was your typical Sunday with my lovely husband working all day and me and the boy at home. We did give daddy some nice cards, with some Picasso-esque artwork from the baby. :) He loved it. Know he would LOVE the tools too!!!

Father’s day was my hubs, Justin, and I’s one year anniversary!! We both work nights (he’s a cop, i’m a nurse) and when we both came home from work I suprised him with a box of doughnuts and wrote Happy Father’s Day and anniversary on the top and replaced the doughnuts on the inside with my positive pregnancy test!!! I gave him a doughnut later of course!! :)

The night before father’s day my girlfriends and I made dinner for our husbands and then set up my back play room with snacks and let the guys play poker for the evening while we took all the kids to the beach. On Father’s day I called my pops in the morning and told him to have a great day while he celebrated with my family down in California. Then my husband, our 3 kiddos (who all happen to be under the age of 3), in laws, and I spent the afternoon at the park then out to dinner. It was a great weekend! Hope you had a great Fathers day too!
