In honor of Father’s Day (yes, I realize it was yesterday, but why not keep the celebration alive?) we’re giving away – you guessed it – TOOLS. But these particular tools are Ryobi TEK4 tools, a series of ten cordless gadgets that look pretty darn sleek, are crazy durable, and run on a long-lasting 4V rechargeable battery. And come to think of it, ladies would look just as good slinging these guys (so they’re not just for dads). We picked our three most go-to devices from the TEK4 line and are giving them (plus an extra battery and charger) to one lucky guy or gal this week. For Father’s Day I called my pop who lives in NC and had a cookout with my boyfriend’s dad (whom I adore). I also made photo albums for my brothers, who were all celebrating their very first Father’s Day!

Fabulous giveaway! I think my hubby and I would both enjoy these lovelies. We spent Father’s Day at my in-laws swimming, chilling, eating and hanging out with the fam. “TEK ME!” I was visiting my father-in-law 4 hours away with my husband in the city where my father happens to live too. My dad was in Germany for business and wouldn’t be back until the follwoing day. I went to put a card on his doorstep and to my surprise he had just walked in the door a day early! What a nice surprise to see my dad when I didn’t think I’d be able to!

I got to call my dad and tell him how much I appreciate his contribution towards my college degree. Now a college graduate, I can call just to talk rather than to remind him when his portion of my tuition is due. So thankful for his help.

Or, rather, tek my husband! For Father’s Day we sat and watched several movies, only one of which was good. I do NOT recommend the Nicole Kidman Stepford Wives or “Hereafter.” – My husband kept trying to blame me for that one – I told him he should blame Clint Eastwood. On the flip side, The Aviator is a darn good movie.
