In honor of Father’s Day (yes, I realize it was yesterday, but why not keep the celebration alive?) we’re giving away – you guessed it – TOOLS. But these particular tools are Ryobi TEK4 tools, a series of ten cordless gadgets that look pretty darn sleek, are crazy durable, and run on a long-lasting 4V rechargeable battery. And come to think of it, ladies would look just as good slinging these guys (so they’re not just for dads). We picked our three most go-to devices from the TEK4 line and are giving them (plus an extra battery and charger) to one lucky guy or gal this week. Husband went golfing with his father and then we had lunch and dinner with our dads. All my husband wanted for his first father’s day was a nap, so I took my son and our two furry sons out for a long walk and swim in the river =) Winning this package would definitely be a better present especially as our drill no longer holds a charge and my husband is super close to breaking down to buy a new one!

It was cool to celebrate a pre-father’s day for my husband. We are expecting our first baby in August. We also hung out with my dear dad and got him an ipad and accessories. Overall it was just relaxing!

My husband spent Father’s Day driving through flooding and more storms to pick our son up at the airport… I felt so bad when his flight was delayed by 3 hours knowing that my husband would be spending the day at the airport in a storm.
THEN… today we were going to grill out and spend together as a family BUT my husband, while doing a last minute diy project, cut a gash in his face and had to go to the ER for stitches. Crazy!!! Hopefully tomorrow we’ll enjoy a quiet day. ;o)
