In honor of Father’s Day (yes, I realize it was yesterday, but why not keep the celebration alive?) we’re giving away – you guessed it – TOOLS. But these particular tools are Ryobi TEK4 tools, a series of ten cordless gadgets that look pretty darn sleek, are crazy durable, and run on a long-lasting 4V rechargeable battery. And come to think of it, ladies would look just as good slinging these guys (so they’re not just for dads). Spent the whole weekend with my mom and step dad. Spent the actual fathers’ day going to church (where all the dads got to take home a homemade pie of their choice-he chose apple), helping him work in his garden, and just hanging out as a family. Then, I called my dad on the almost three hour ride back to my house. Hope everyone’s fathers’ days were just as full of fun and love.

It was my husband’s first father’s day, so i made a father’s day banner, bbq’d for him and bought an ice cream cake. We also had my parent’s over to celebrate. My 8 month old daughter, Emerie and I Stamped her hands and feet on paper, and I wrote a poem that we framed! He loved it!
I haven’t been around long but I’ve got some things to say,
My Daddy is the greatest; I love him each and every day.
I love it when he makes me laugh or sings me all his songs,
He has this way of loving me, to him my heart belongs.
I love it when he holds me close to show that I am his,
My Daddy can do anything, he’s the smartest man there is.
God picked him out and said, this Daddy is just for me,

To celebrate Fathers Day we made a special breakfast. Later in the day we blindfolded daddy and took him for a ride to Kingston Adventures were he got a free hour of Stand Up Paddleboarding. The kids and I joined him and had a great time!

My FIL spent the weekend at our house helping my husband build a new deck after we ripped out the old brick patio. We gave him a wine making experience for him and my MIL as well as a lawn mower (in conjunction w/ my hubs’ other siblings )’
