And that’s the idea behind HouseTalent, a free site where you can easily upload before pics, progress shots, and after photos of the DIYs that are going on in your digs. The friendly interface makes browsing other peoples’ accomplishments just as easy as uploading your own inspiration – from small furniture builds to major room overhauls. And to help you get some of your projects ready to share, HouseTalent is giving away a $250 gift card to World Market this week. Speaking of the world, this giveaway is available internationally – so if World Market doesn’t ship to you, you can select a local alternative for your gift card.

    I’M TALENTED!

    My talent is reciting the dialog from Romancing the Stone verbatim, while annoying my family. Once I hear that opening line “What’s it gonna be Angelina?” the rest just keeps on spewing from my mouth. Not sure if it’s a talent or a problem? :)

    PS Finally went to a World Market this past weekend while out on a road trip. The closest one to me is 2 hours away. Loved it!

    I’M TALENTED! at singing bass. My friend introduced me to barbershop and I discovered I can sing – just about an octave lower than most women! I now sing in an award-winning chorus in the UK.

    I’M TALENTED – my special talent is what I like to call “thrift-fu”. I have the ability to find the most amazing items at the thrift store. I can just walk down each aisle scanning with my eyes, reach in, and pick out something that fits me or my boyfriend perfectly and is in great condition. It’s strange and awesome.

    My special talent is whipping up gourmet meals from scratch every night for my family, sometimes in less than 30 minutes. I love cooking, and I show my love through food – so I’m glad my family appreciates that part of me. :)

    I’m talented! I can change the lyrics to any song to fit what I’m doing at that moment. My children are going to grow up with no idea what the actual song lyrics are supposed to be because I’m always singing about things like brushing our teeth and making lunch…
