And that’s the idea behind HouseTalent, a free site where you can easily upload before pics, progress shots, and after photos of the DIYs that are going on in your digs. The friendly interface makes browsing other peoples’ accomplishments just as easy as uploading your own inspiration – from small furniture builds to major room overhauls. And to help you get some of your projects ready to share, HouseTalent is giving away a $250 gift card to World Market this week. Speaking of the world, this giveaway is available internationally – so if World Market doesn’t ship to you, you can select a local alternative for your gift card.

    I’M TALENTED!

    I can cross one eye while moving the other around in a circle–well, sort of a circle. It definitely moves around, though. I’m also double-jointed and can bend my fingers back and put my foot behind my head.

    I’m talented! I can remember all the lyrics to songs I’ve only heard once. I find myself singing along to songs I hate (because I know the words???). It’s also super specific, so unless a random stranger walks up and asks me to sing! that! song!, not really very helpful.

    I’m talented! I’ve got a pretty big repertoire of memorized song lyrics and I can usually pick the artist even if I’ve never heard the song before. I love to play the “which artist is this?” Game with my husband. He’s not very good at it.

    I’m talented – I can sing (musicals/jazz/blues, mostly) and have a great memory for random trivia that helps my team do really well at pub quiz most weeks. I am also really good at hoarding random useless stuff (it’s a talent I inherited from my father) and am two thirds of the way to being a crazy, purple-haired cat lady. It’s up to you to guess which two thirds….
