One of the most exciting parts of doing a project is getting to share the sweat-inducing results when it’s done. And that’s the idea behind HouseTalent, a free site where you can easily upload before pics, progress shots, and after photos of the DIYs that are going on in your digs. The friendly interface makes browsing other peoples’ accomplishments just as easy as uploading your own inspiration – from small furniture builds to major room overhauls. And to help you get some of your projects ready to share, HouseTalent is giving away a $250 gift card to World Market this week. Speaking of the world, this giveaway is available internationally – so if World Market doesn’t ship to you, you can select a local alternative for your gift card.

    I’m talented! I am a spelling fanatic. Not national spelling bee champion talented, but parochial school 2nd and 8th grade ‘bee champ kind of talent. :)

    I’m talented…because I can finish the entire Super Nintendo game The Legend of Zelda in one sitting. Maybe not a talent I’m proud of, but sure does speak to being a child of the 90s!

    My special talent is that I am able to figure out how to sew something by looking at it. I’ve never used a pattern – things just make sense in my head!

    I’M TALENTED!! I think my main talent is the ability to teach middle school/ high school and get a reasonable number of the kids to learn something and enjoy the class. It’s hard, some days, and never feels effortless, and some people say they would never be able to do it. So I think that counts. :-)

    I’m talented, I taught myself how to sew about two years ago so that I could make my own historical reenacting clothes from the 18th century! Of course, I’m constantly learning the “right” way to do things, since I kind of invented my own way a lot of the time… ;)

    I’M TALENTED!
    My special talent is giving something I have no idea how to do a red hot go … I’ve found usually it works out, and when it doesn’t at least I learnt something!

    I’m talented! I was proud to hear that my talent for sending emails from the loo was the inspiration for Cheezburger.com’s #toilettweet today. My old manager who works there now had to tell the story and they loved it!

    Oh, and I’ve always been complimented on my handwriting (and that has nothing to do with the loo…)!

    I’M TALENTED! I can do this thing where it sounds like a tiny person is talking from inside a bottle. “Help! I’m stuck in a bottle! Somebody get me outta here!” Kids will look in my mouth to see if someone really is in there :D.
