One of the most exciting parts of doing a project is getting to share the sweat-inducing results when it’s done. And that’s the idea behind HouseTalent, a free site where you can easily upload before pics, progress shots, and after photos of the DIYs that are going on in your digs. The friendly interface makes browsing other peoples’ accomplishments just as easy as uploading your own inspiration – from small furniture builds to major room overhauls. And to help you get some of your projects ready to share, HouseTalent is giving away a $250 gift card to World Market this week. Speaking of the world, this giveaway is available internationally – so if World Market doesn’t ship to you, you can select a local alternative for your gift card.

    I’m talented! I do a little bit of quilting and a lot of budgeting, which I guess is a talent? Would love to win so we could get a few extras I’ve been drooling over (pretty window treatments & some sweet pops of colour for the sunroom!).

    I can remember lines from movies and TV, who said them, and what it is from after seeing it once. It’s only really useful at pub trivia…

    I’M TALENTED! I have my own rendition of Alica Keys songs – all played on my beautiful red accordion. It’s too bad that local talent shows is my only venue. (Check it out “Love Song Sing-Along” on Vimeo.)

    I’M TALENTED!
    I’m not really super talented in any one area but I am pretty good at figuring out how to make pretty much anything I want to create (all things crafty, building stuff with wood, cooking, etc). It won’t necessarily be professional quality but it usually turns out pretty decent, aside from the occasional item that looks like it was made by a 5 y/o. ;)

    I love to Sing!!! Fun fact: eleven years ago, at 15 I sang the nation anthem at our local Jacksonville Suns baseball game!!!!
