And that’s the idea behind HouseTalent, a free site where you can easily upload before pics, progress shots, and after photos of the DIYs that are going on in your digs. The friendly interface makes browsing other peoples’ accomplishments just as easy as uploading your own inspiration – from small furniture builds to major room overhauls. And to help you get some of your projects ready to share, HouseTalent is giving away a $250 gift card to World Market this week. Speaking of the world, this giveaway is available internationally – so if World Market doesn’t ship to you, you can select a local alternative for your gift card.

    My sister and I joke that our family missed out on the talent genes – the only thing we are good at is drinking games. But if I win, I’ll think of a more “family friendly” answer!

    I’M TALENTED…. I can play piano, sing, draw and teach little children :) I love being a teacher!

    …I also discovered in college that if you play a song from a disney movie (that I have seen) I can tell you the exact scene the song is from!

    My special talent is double jointed thumbs…I work with kids and showing them how my thumbs can go “backwards” makes them freak out and be in awe all at once!
