And that’s the idea behind HouseTalent, a free site where you can easily upload before pics, progress shots, and after photos of the DIYs that are going on in your digs. The friendly interface makes browsing other peoples’ accomplishments just as easy as uploading your own inspiration – from small furniture builds to major room overhauls. And to help you get some of your projects ready to share, HouseTalent is giving away a $250 gift card to World Market this week. Speaking of the world, this giveaway is available internationally – so if World Market doesn’t ship to you, you can select a local alternative for your gift card.

    I’M TALENTED!

    I can redecorate the whole house in just a couple of days when my husband goes away on business! : ) He teases that if the lights weren’t on he’d bump into furniture upon his return since everything is constantly changing.

    I’m a professional musician, so I guess that would be my talent. I’m also really good at opening hard-to-open things and fixing anything mechanical. :)

    I’M TALENTED! My favorite talent is finding a great deal at a garage sale….using it while I/kids need it…and then making money on it when we’re done!

    I’m talented! We somehow gave our dog the voice of Butters from South Park and I’m freakishly good at it. I’m sure others would be annoyed since its rather constant but we find it so funny!

    IM TALENTED

    Given directions or an example, I’m great at crafty projects, especially cutting, folding, painting and glueing. I used to be a preschool teacher and was able to put those talents to good use!

    Now I work in administration at my school. My community there thinks I’m talented at all things computer, including word, excel, power point, prezi, google docs, photo editing, etc. I am only talented in these activities in comparison to my coworkers though :)

    I’M TALENTED! I can read lips like nobody’s business. Great for entertainment when we go to a restaurant or other public place. Although, at times I feel like a superhero with the weighty responsibility of not abusing my power. ;)

    I’M TALENTED! I can plug my nose with my upper lip and swim under water…figured it out when I was a kid and did Not want to plug my nose with my hand anymore!

    I’M TALENTED!

    I have an internal compass and can generally tell which way is north even in the basement of a building. My only issue is convincing others that I really *do* know which way we need to go to get somewhere. :)

    I’m talented! I’m double-jointed in my shoulders, which means I could (theoretically) get out of a straight jacket.
