One of the most exciting parts of doing a project is getting to share the sweat-inducing results when it’s done. And that’s the idea behind HouseTalent, a free site where you can easily upload before pics, progress shots, and after photos of the DIYs that are going on in your digs. The friendly interface makes browsing other peoples’ accomplishments just as easy as uploading your own inspiration – from small furniture builds to major room overhauls. And to help you get some of your projects ready to share, HouseTalent is giving away a $250 gift card to World Market this week. Speaking of the world, this giveaway is available internationally – so if World Market doesn’t ship to you, you can select a local alternative for your gift card.

    I’M TALENTED! I can speak/read/write in French. I don’t think it’s that impressive to know more than one language, but no one else in my family knows it.

    I’m talented!!!!

    I am a pretty cook and baker. Don’t always have enough time to prepare all the meals during weeknigs with our schedule but weekends I enjoy cooking lovely meals and baking many goodies!!!

    I’M TALENTED! Since you mentioned it, I *can* wiggle my ears. It comes in handy during long waits at the doctor’s office to keep my four-year-old occupied. Who knew I was so entertaining?

    I’M TALENTED!

    I can find four-leaf clovers like it’s my job. It’s actually because of a blue-green colorblindness issue. It doesn’t really bother me, but it’s handy for finding those little lucky charms! :)

    I can tweet/whistle exactly like a sparrow and freak people out as they look around for the poor lost bird that must be trapped inside. It’s fun.

    I’M TALENTED! I hold the record for finding the most lost (mis-shelved) books at the library at my university (as of 10 yrs ago…). Unfortunately that talent is not exactly in high demand:)

    I’M TALENTED!

    I am a “baby whisperer.” At least in our house (and sometimes with other children) My poor husband could be trying to soothe or understand our 1 year old for 20 minutes and I can walk in and know exactly how to fix her in 2 seconds. :) It drives him nuts!
