One of the most exciting parts of doing a project is getting to share the sweat-inducing results when it’s done. And that’s the idea behind HouseTalent, a free site where you can easily upload before pics, progress shots, and after photos of the DIYs that are going on in your digs. The friendly interface makes browsing other peoples’ accomplishments just as easy as uploading your own inspiration – from small furniture builds to major room overhauls. And to help you get some of your projects ready to share, HouseTalent is giving away a $250 gift card to World Market this week. Speaking of the world, this giveaway is available internationally – so if World Market doesn’t ship to you, you can select a local alternative for your gift card.

    I can make really hideous “funny faces” and find typos in anything… Not super useful talents, but there you go… :)

    I’M TALENTED! I just sewed a dress for my daughter from scratch, no pattern, for the first time, and it turned out great! (Phew! Wipes sweat from brow.)

    I’M TALENTED! I can shake my eyes (medical term: voluntary nystagmus). When I was a little kid I would do this as an alternative to eye-rolling so I wouldn’t get in trouble;)

    I’m Talented!

    My weird talent is getting cars out of tough spots… like oddly shaped parallel parking spaces, wedged between two tight objects, etc. I don’t claim to be an amazing driver, but that is one thing I am strangely good at. I have my father to thank for his rigorous training.

    Im tallented!!! I used to be in cheerleading in high school. It’s been seven years, but I can still bend over backward and make my head touch the ground and come back up without using hands. I can also bring my leg up and make my foot touch the back of my head. I used to be able to just jump and land in the splits, but I can’t anymore.

    I’M TALENTED!

    This feels funny, but I love world market so it’s worth it! I play the piano and sing. I’ve been doing both since I was a toddler with my family! Lots of songs sung around the piano. Most people don’t know those things about me though because I haven’t really done either since moving from my hometown! Maybe I should get back at ’em. :)
