One of the most exciting parts of doing a project is getting to share the sweat-inducing results when it’s done. And that’s the idea behind HouseTalent, a free site where you can easily upload before pics, progress shots, and after photos of the DIYs that are going on in your digs. The friendly interface makes browsing other peoples’ accomplishments just as easy as uploading your own inspiration – from small furniture builds to major room overhauls. And to help you get some of your projects ready to share, HouseTalent is giving away a $250 gift card to World Market this week. Speaking of the world, this giveaway is available internationally – so if World Market doesn’t ship to you, you can select a local alternative for your gift card.

    I’M TALENTED!!

    I can learn how to do service/crafty things like sewing, car repair or knitting really easily by watching YouTube videos. Once I even repaired our washing machine for $5. A cheap part minus the labor a repairman would have charged was all it took to get it up and running again!

    I’m Talented!

    My sister always says that I can draw very well. Mostly little cartoon animals and things like that, but I liked doing it when I was a teenager and I still doodle things today.

    I’M TALENTED

    My “special talent” is being able to tell when people have had haircuts – not the obvious chops, but even when men are wearing a hat, and have only had a trim.

    It’s not a skill that is necessary or useful, but it’s kind of fun. :)

    I’m good at math, so much so that I have a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics. But I also love the arts and home design. I’m a creative math nerd! :)

    I’m Talanted

    I can balance with my hands on the ground, knees on elbows and tip forward to pick up a matchbox with my mouth (more of a talent that comes out when drinking)
