And that’s the idea behind HouseTalent, a free site where you can easily upload before pics, progress shots, and after photos of the DIYs that are going on in your digs. The friendly interface makes browsing other peoples’ accomplishments just as easy as uploading your own inspiration – from small furniture builds to major room overhauls. And to help you get some of your projects ready to share, HouseTalent is giving away a $250 gift card to World Market this week. Speaking of the world, this giveaway is available internationally – so if World Market doesn’t ship to you, you can select a local alternative for your gift card.

    I’M TALENTED!

    I’m not sure I actually have a talent…but if I do it’s got to be sleeping. I can sleep though anything and at any time of the day. So basically my talent is laziness…

    I’m talented! I took piano lessons for 14 years, but I never practiced the songs I was supposed to between lessons, so when it came time for my weekly lesson, I sight-read the song and my teacher(s) were none the wiser ;)!

    I’M TALENTED…My special talent is knowledge of trivia. I remember the most useless bits of information. Not super-helpful for day-to-day life, but great for games!

    I can recognize almost any song just by hearing the first few notes. It drives my wife crazy because she is challenged in that area.

    “I’M TALENTED”

    My talent is that I am an awesome sleep-maker.
    My son can fall asleep next to me, sitting on my lap, if I’m in the room. Sometimes he even says I am necessary to fall asleep.

    What a talent.

    (Also, I am an excellent writer. And apparently, according to my 6 year old “The best mommy ever.” Don’t know if this is just on Mother’s Day or not.)

    I’m Talented!! Mostly I’m good at design and drawing (love identifying fonts!), but I throw a little music and writing into the mix to keep it interesting.

    I’M TALENTED! I do the absolute worst Nicholas Cage impression on the planet… and my husband laughs until he cries every time! “I’m really more of a treasure protector.” Come to think of it, maybe I’m the best because when was the last time you heard a Nic Cage impression? :-)

    I’m talented!!!!

    I can do almost ANYTHING on unbelievable budgets. Every piece of furniture in my place adds up to less than $350 total. Every. Piece. My wedding cost 1/3 what my friend paid for his (less fabulous) wedding held two weeks after mine… and he even used the same reception site! I save at LEAST 45% on all my groceries.

    Frugalmagicalness is my middle name.

    I’M TALENTED!

    I like to think I am very talented when it comes to design – both in the home and with fasion. I love to pick out colors, patterns, etc., and I think I’m pretty good at it, too! :)

    I’M TALENTED!

    I can answer my husband’s questions before he even finishes the question (let me tell you, he loves that, HA not.) I just learned that is a sign of ADD… add that onto my list of other ADD qualities :)

    I’M TALENTED

    I used my company’s education benefit to go back to school for baking and pastries instead of acquiring an MBA. Needless to say, my coworkers appreciate my unique decision MUCH more than another MBA in the office :)
