One of the most exciting parts of doing a project is getting to share the sweat-inducing results when it’s done. And that’s the idea behind HouseTalent, a free site where you can easily upload before pics, progress shots, and after photos of the DIYs that are going on in your digs. The friendly interface makes browsing other peoples’ accomplishments just as easy as uploading your own inspiration – from small furniture builds to major room overhauls. And to help you get some of your projects ready to share, HouseTalent is giving away a $250 gift card to World Market this week. Speaking of the world, this giveaway is available internationally – so if World Market doesn’t ship to you, you can select a local alternative for your gift card.

    I consider myself a fairly good photographer + graphic designer…which has been cost-effective when decorating my home with photos & artwork :)

    I’M TALENTED! I can read my dog’s mind and speak her thoughts.

    Not really. Sometimes I kinda believe this and have conversations with my husband where I speak for the dog. This is what happens when you don’t have children!

    I’M TALENTED!

    I can make up random dances to any kids show/movie/random commercial jingle that makes my kids think I’m totally awesome! Hate to think they will one day get wise to the fact that I’m not cool…just a goofball. :-/

    I’m talented!!
    I can still sing a song with all the prepositions to the tune to Yankee Doodle Dandy that I learned or made up in 4th grade. That might be my most hidden talent, ever.

    Maybe? I get compliments on my writing pretty often… but I can also do the clover thing with my tongue instead of just rolling up my tongue… so, there’s that I guess.

    I’m talented!

    I have a knack for moving furniture – whether it’s in the same room or figuring out how to maneuver it through doorways or up/down stairs without scratching walls or harming the furniture. It comes in handy too, since I’ve been rearranging furniture since I was 8.

    I can make up a song about anyone, anything at any time. It’s not a song you’d bump in your minivan as you cruise down the street but hey it’s a song and its my talent. :)
