One of the most exciting parts of doing a project is getting to share the sweat-inducing results when it’s done. And that’s the idea behind HouseTalent, a free site where you can easily upload before pics, progress shots, and after photos of the DIYs that are going on in your digs. The friendly interface makes browsing other peoples’ accomplishments just as easy as uploading your own inspiration – from small furniture builds to major room overhauls. And to help you get some of your projects ready to share, HouseTalent is giving away a $250 gift card to World Market this week. Speaking of the world, this giveaway is available internationally – so if World Market doesn’t ship to you, you can select a local alternative for your gift card.

    I’M TALENTED!
    I am extremely double-jointed, especially my hands. I bend my fingers in ways they shouldn’t be bent. Not really a talent, but it impresses small children.

    I’M TALENTED! I can get a deal on anything. My fiance was skeptical that this was a real “talent” until wedding planning rolled around and i got us $5000 off our reception!

    I’m talented! Baking is the one talent I’m able to claim. Also, and maybe this is bordering in the crazy side, have you ever thought about writing a children’s book. We just got the book Creaky Old House from the library and it made me think that I’ve never seen a book about a house before. Anyways, just a thought for your “other project” world :)

    I have the ability to remember names! It doesn’t seem like much to me, but apparently this is hard for many people! I guess it comes naturally to me b/c I have such a large family – and it is constantly expanding!

    I’m Talented!

    So excited to see this post! My husband has been friends with one of the House Talent creators since he was a kid. They both grew up in the same small town. Now we both have baby boys and don’t hang out nearly as often as we should. I’m completely star struck that Drew’s site is getting props from YHL! Now I’m gonna have to ask for Drew’s autograph next time we get together! Love all around!

    Oh, and special talent… Hmm, making kick arse guac. Seriously, I get way more comments on that than anything else.
