The friendly interface makes browsing other peoples’ accomplishments just as easy as uploading your own inspiration – from small furniture builds to major room overhauls. And to help you get some of your projects ready to share, HouseTalent is giving away a $250 gift card to World Market this week. Speaking of the world, this giveaway is available internationally – so if World Market doesn’t ship to you, you can select a local alternative for your gift card.

    I’M TALENTED. I pick up languages really easily: I speak three fluently, am pretty good in two more, and can read (and understand) about 10 more.

    I’m Talented! I can write my name upside down and backwards in cursive. That’s the skill you come away with from waiting tables at a certain italian chain restaurant.

    I’m talented! I can ‘quick clean’ like nobody’s business–taking our house from hurricane status to company ready (at least those rooms that will be seen) is something that I’ve turned into an art form. Silly, but true.

    I’M TALENTED! I grew up in a family of magicians and put myself through my first undergrad degree performing in a big stage magic act. Too bad my home decorating projects don’t respond to a magic wand… :)

    I can cook and bake. Around the office people wait for the annual corn tomato relish I make for cinco de mayo and for my special peppermint bark at holiday time. Mmmmm…why wait until the winter holidays for that one?!

    I guess my most unique talent is that I’m really good at counted cross stitch. And other embroidery, but mostly counted cross stitch.

    I’M TALENTED!

    I’m pretty good at remembering where things are around the house. Keys, wallets, kids’ toys, shoes…whatever. It’s like I can call up the picture of it in my mind. Too bad I can’t remember what I had for breakfast on any given day.

    “I’m talented”

    I can make my tongue do the waves. My 7th grade teacher was talking genetics and how not everyone can roll their tongue. He then asked us to show him if we could. Well, he was not talking about my type of rolling and he was grossed out by my tongue and told me to knock it off.
