And that’s the idea behind HouseTalent, a free site where you can easily upload before pics, progress shots, and after photos of the DIYs that are going on in your digs. The friendly interface makes browsing other peoples’ accomplishments just as easy as uploading your own inspiration – from small furniture builds to major room overhauls. And to help you get some of your projects ready to share, HouseTalent is giving away a $250 gift card to World Market this week. Speaking of the world, this giveaway is available internationally – so if World Market doesn’t ship to you, you can select a local alternative for your gift card.

    I’M TALENTED! My talent is to sing. I have always loved singing. I sing in the shower, in my car, at my work desk, while I clean or cook. I sing quite a lot.

    I’M TALENTED

    it’s lame, but I can resurrect gas chromatographs from the dead. I know, all the nerd-men love me and the sci-ladies want to be me, but it helps when there’s one person in the lab that can get these things back up and going after decades of neglect. it doesn’t sound like a talent, but these things are so sensitive that they often don’t respond to the prescribed remedies, and thus science turns to art. humble-brag over.

    I am TALENTED! :)
    I work full time, mommy two growing boys full time, and still find time to refinish furniture and decorate in my “spare” time! When I fly back home to TX all of my friends fight over my time to help them decorate their homes too! ;)

    I’m Talented!

    I’m talented at spending money! 22 month old twin boys, 2 cats, the husband, and I spend most of it on the essentials so there is not a lot left for decorating.

    I’M TALENTED!!!!

    I am really good at making up ridiculous rhymes and poems. I also have a crazy penchant for remembering useless bits of information such as what my best friend wore to school on picture day in first grade, and other random things.

    I’M TALENTED!

    I can remember long strings of numbers, phone numbers, etc. after only hearing them a few times. Ironically, I’m TERRIBLE at math and can barely add and subtract, but when it comes to remembering the wrong answers I get, I’m a whiz!

    I’m TALENTED! I play the french horn, but one of my secret talents (which is SUPER helpful while teaching horn and Jazzercise!) is I can anticipate the music and know when changes will happen…thus meaning…I rarely have to count rests or breaks while teaching Jazzercise!

    I’m talented! I can make people laugh- the best feeling in the world (in my opinion.) I am also very good at making up songs to sing to my dog. I especially like the one to the tune of “Closing Time.”
