    I’M HAUTE! I don’t know my absolute best deal, but one that makes me totally happy is a great pair of broken in snake skin cowboy boots for $11 at a thrift store. I would never be able to afford them new, and they have a great sense of history to them, someone wore and loved them for many years before I started wearing them.

    I’m haute! My best deal recently has been our crib (solid wood, non-toxic finish) which I got for under $200 and with the changing table thrown in for free! The stars were aligned that day….

    I’m Haute!
    I’m a huge bargain hunter and rarely pay full price for anything. One of my favorite finds was a Cynthia Rowley bag I found at TJX. It was still $400 dollars more at Bloomingdales when I purchased it!

    I’M HAUTE! I’m a big bargain shopper, so I’m not sure what my best purchase has been, but I just got a super cute light blue vintage Singer Sewing machine for $10… and it works!

    I love going to auctions. I have gotten some of my best furniture deals at auctions. I get things like a complete bedroom suite with 2 twin beds, mattresses, a double dresser, and a mirror for 200 bucks!

    Got some smoking deals at JCPenney’s this summer using sales, coupons and reward dollars.

    I got a king size egyptian cotton sheet set normally $140 for only $4.50. I also got my son Arizona jeans normally $19.99 for only $1.47 each. The cashier had to look twice at the receipt to make sure she had rung it up correctly!

    Came across a rug that I absolutely loved but was not willing to dish out $500 for it. I kept waiting for it to go on sale – long story short, after a sale and some coupons I only spent $100 on it!

    I scored a $200 like-new cocktail dress for $10 at a local thrift store the day before a wedding I wore it to. I got tons of compliments on it. And being the deal-seeker that I am, I just had to spill the beans about how many beans it cost me to everyone.

    I’m haute. The best deal I ever scored was actually from Crate and Barrel. I got 2 serving bowls, a platter and 12 app plates for under $50! I love their “Outlet” section online.

    I’m haute! I frequently scout out shops like TJMaxx, Homegoods, etc. I only will buy things on sale, and I look forward to Sundays for the weekly circulars.

    Best deal I got was an entirely free living room set and a kitchen full of appliances, silverware, etc. A man I knew was moving out of the state and couldn’t transport all of his furniture, so he gave it to us!

    Our bestest every bargain….the land we bought from the bank (a foreclosure). We still haven’t put a house up on it, we are paying the uber cheap 2 dreamy acres off for a little while and until then we daydream about what sort of house to build.

    I’M HAUTE!!

    The best deal I ever got was on a gorgeous microfiber suede overstuffed chair from a great boutique shop in St. Louis, MO. When I was attending college there, I was shopping for a comfortable reading chair for my apartment (on a budget).
    I managed to snag this beautiful chair for $200 on a floor clearance sale (marked down from $800 because the ottoman was mismatched and it was the floor model). I took the chair home, and it has offered a great place to snuggle up on and read a book ever since! The chair has made it through two moves from St. Louis to New York and from New York to D.C. and four other apartments since I purchased it, and it is still as beautiful and comfortable as it was the day I bought it!

    I’m haute!
    I often get coupons in the mail for $10 off on any purchase at a certain store. I LOVE going into the store and picking out something that is on clearance for $10 or under and using the coupon and walking out of the store without spending a dime! Makes my day!!

    I’M HAUTE! or will be if I win this contest. I just purchased fabric for $21 (on sale and clearance!) to complete four drapery panels and three pillows for my family room. Since I forgot to get fabric to line the drapes, I snagged some sheets while at Ikea the other day for $1.99 to use as liners.

    I’M Haute!

    Last year I scored a beautiful wood lamp that I was in love with for only $45, regularly over $150! I fell in love with this lamp and I spied it at several designer stores all at the full price, I finally found it in a clearance room marked for $99 and I was able to talk them down because the shade was a little damaged. No biggie to me, I’m just happy I got the lamp!

    I’M HAUTE! I once order online a pair of boots for my boyfriend, and we had to send them back 3 times because they didn’t fit right or the color was wrong, but every time they send the new pair, they send a 20% coupon with them… we end up using 3 20% coupons on the last pair… AWESOME!

    IM HAUTE!!!

    wow i have bargain hunted all my life so this is a hard one to answer. I would have to say that we scored our ikea malm bed from craiglist for $25 but it didn’t have hardware so we went off to Ikea which didn’t at the time have any Malm hardware kits but the sales associate scoured the as is section and found us a set for another bed that we just had to file off one half of the bracket! for free!!!

    Much of our furniture was scored by some great hand-me-downs, off craigslist or we built ourselves. We do alot of refinishing work. Best buy though was our couch and loveseat set at an overstock place. $600 for the set and we love it!

    I’m Haute(!!!) and the best deal the hubs and I ever got was a Jeep off-road stroller for FREE! Somehow the store we bought it from charged our card and refunded it simultaneously. We called and told them once we saw our online bank statement, but they said they had no record of the transaction and that there was nothing they could do! We tried to do the right thing, but we wound up getting to keep the $100+ stroller for free anyway! Woot woot, best shopping score EVER!
