Not sure if this is the best deal I’ve ever scored, but it’s certainly one of the most recent. We’re expecting our first baby in January and we went to Babies R Us to look at cribs. We found one we liked but were told it was discountinued and couldn’t be ordered. After discussing with the manager, we were able to take the floor model (after a thorough inspection to ensure all the parts were there and working) for 15% off, plus use our one-day-only 25% off coupon. We saved nearly 40% on a brand spankin’ new crib AND got to take it home that day!!

I got a dress for $0.25 one time because it was deeply discounted, and I had to return a skirt that was only $9.00. However, I couldn’t get my money for the skirt because the 90-day return period had passed, but they let me swap the skirt for the dress. Yay!!

My best score would have to be a vintage Breakfast at Tiffany’s in-theater poster that a friend who worked at a printers literally found in a tube in a storage room for me. It’s one that the theater was supposed to return to the studio, but I guess it never went back.
Priceless, unique and from my all-time favorite movie. Definitely a score.

We love a good deal and regularly shop clearance, with coupons, etc. I can’t think of the best deal we’ve ever gotten, but just recently I got three “big pack” boxes of pampers diapers (usually $24.99 per box) for just $14.00 thanks to sales and coupons. That was $65.00 worth of diapers for $14.00! Because of the stage of life we’re in with our daughter, that was a really big deal for us. It’s the little things like that that add up fast. We love coupons!

The best ever deal I scored was at the Door Store outlet. I got a beautiful $1,400 solid wood desk for $300. Yeah it had a couple of scratches…but nothing I couldn’t live with especially since I tend to be hard on furniture.

Best deal? Has to be a solid wood bed frame/headboard/footboard we scored at a huge yard sale two years ago. Cheap since they wanted to get rid of it and free for us since my parents bought it for us as part of our anniversary gift. It’s beautiful and in great shape.
