I try to buy most everything on sale and always look for a coupon online before I buy. One great way to save money when shopping online is to portal through ebates.com. You earn cash back every time you buy online and they always have great coupons. I think they send out the checks 4 times a year and I always put that money aside for vacations with the husband. : )

“I’m Haute”. I was living in an apartment with nothing but a bed and a desk and had decided a couch was out of the question financially. I was walking around the outlets and stumbled into the Pottery Barn outlet and found a couch (still in catalog for $1600) on sale for $400. The catch was that I had to have it out of there when I purchased it but only had a tiny little car. I slipped a high school kid I found in the parking lot $100 to bring it to me in his pick-up….. he did (4 days later).

We have really high ceilings so our “art” has to be pretty large itself. With that said, we scored large frames from Michaels for 60% off with an additional 25% off for coming in between 1-4 p.m. on a certain day. You can guarantee I was there alright. Talk about score!! :) One of the best deals I’ve ever received.

I got a great 8×10 rug on sale at Home Depot for $130…they ended up sending me the wrong rug, though. When I returned it and they found out that the mistake was with the manufacturer and not Home Depot, the manufacturer felt so bad about it that they overnighted me the new rug and gave me a FULL REFUND! I liked the rug so much that I ended up buying another one…so I got two rugs for one super-low, amazing price!
