Definitely signed up for no more natural diasters. My neighborhood was hit be an F3 tornado back on June 1st…then my little town experienced a microburst at the end of July (downing one of the last trees in our neighborhood), the earthquake from VA was felt by some all the way up here, and the eye of the hurricane was supposed to come over us but thankfully ventured west. My traumatized kids and I need a break.
On a more fun note, kids start school tomorrow and I’m gearing up to clean and get organized (maybe even make my first trip to IKEA) and to get our ruined landscape back in shape.
Also, decided I need my own ‘office area’ in our living room so am planning on purchasing a desk and filing cabinet from Target to match our TV stand. Tired of having the dining room table covered in my junk!
