Fab Freebie: Scoping Out The Goods

Glad to hear so many of you had fun with the quiz (though sorry it had a bit of trouble loading for some). Random.org has selected our lucky winner and she is… Emily W (who thought she’d be BOHO, but ended up a mix of Sassy and Classic). Congrats Emily!

It’s been a while since we’ve posted about a fun what’s-your-design-style type quiz (like these of the past). And it’s been never since our post about one came with a chance to win $500 from HomeGoods. So if ever there was time to put aside your allegiance to scientific results, this would be a good one. HomeGoods has revamped their Stylescope quiz (with the help of HGTV’s Taniya Nayak) to help pin down your style in just one question. Pick your favorite five of the 36 provided images and BAM! –  instant diagnosis.

The cool part (besides the $500 prize) is they not only give you a description of your style, but also throw in quick tips for decorating, shopping, gift-giving, and even entertaining based on your evaluation. They also suggest a Pinterest board dedicated to your style as well as a blog that showcases it as well. And you just might recognize the name of the blog that goes along with the “Sassy” style. We were totally flattered when they asked to link over to us (and giving one of you guys a $500 credit was the icing on the cake).

    SCOPE ME!
    I took the quiz and it said that I was “Earthy Casual”. I think that describes me perfectly! The colors that it recommended were even the colors I painted our house. I definitely need order in my home too…right my now my desk is a mess and it’s making me bonkers!

    I got “Farmhouse Glam” which kind of made me laugh, because I wouldn’t EVER have picked those words for my style. But I don’t hate the accompanying pictures, so maybe there is some farmhouse glam in me. :) I’ve got a touch of “The Traveler” though, which sounds more accurate. Fun quiz and great giveaway!

    SCOPE ME! It appears you are sending too much traffic to stylescope :) I couldn’t take the quiz, but am now very curious what my results would be. I’d love a $500 gift cert to home goods as well! :)

    SCOPE ME!! I got “sassy with a classic touch” which I think would make more sense if it was “classic with a sassy touch” because I’m big on one or two bold accessories in a very subdued room

    The quiz says I’m “classic with a touch of new country”. I see myself more as a “new country” type with the woodsy/natural elements.

    I took the quiz and got – Bohemian with a touch of classic.

    I think I am more classic but very drawn to bohemian styles.

    The traveler may be part of my style as well! I love collecting different things from our travels and incorporating them into our space!

    Hey… I took this a couple of days ago and mentioned it on your Facebook page.

    I’m “Sassy” which is pretty accurate since I like bright colors, funky prints and a mish mash of furniture styles.

    SCOPE ME

    I was “earthy modern” and it suggested warm earthy tones for my color palette. In reality I have found myself to gravitate towards cooler, mutated modern colors.

    “SCOPE ME!” I love my stylescope – it’s hilarious…I’m “classic” with a touch of “farmhouse glam” I would have never put it in such terms, though it is quite true!

    I was primarily spa life, which didn’t really fit me at all, but I did like the secondary description: new country, so I might look into that a bit.

    I couldnt get the quiz to load booo :( but ill take it once the link isnt frozen.

    But as far as style goes it amazes me how much my tastes have changed even from just a few years ago. Amen for garage sales and being able to make cash to swap out for new stuff hehe. And i ??? homegoods. You can never go wrong there!

    Scope Me!! Looks like the quiz is down, but I think my style runs close to shabby chic with some clean lines and fresh colors thrown in!
