One of my all time favorite artists is Mark Rothko, b/c the colors he used and the way he blends them and saturates them onto the canvas is just so meditative and beautiful. Honestly though, it’s hard for me to pick just one artist. Georgia O’Keefe is kind of cliche, but her stuff is totally amazing, it’s popular for a reason. Frida Kahlo is one of my all time favorites too. Her stuff is so fascinatingly weird.

I have always admired Frank Lloyd Wright because of his organic architecture and his belief in designing structures that were in harmony with the environment. I live in Chicago, so I have had the chance to visit his home and other examples of his work in Oak Park, Illinois, which is just outside Chicago.
