I once had to pass up an Eames lounger at a flea market for $350 because my Dad didn’t understand what I was talking about and thought I was just making up the importance of this chair. Since he was the one with the car on this road trip, it got nixed by him. I still give him a hard time about it – I even showed him the Eames postage stamps that came out a couple years ago. I would LOVE to have an Eames chair in our house one day!
