When I was pregnant with first child, I told my husband all I wanted was an Eames rocker. My one request. He searched and decided he wanted an original fiberglass. Well, long story short…original fiberglass comes with original glue. He replaced the base with a rocker and after the first time I used it, the glue snapped. 4.5 years later, and I only got to sit in my rocker once. He just hasn’t had the time (he stays home with both of our children and is a freelance photographer.) I want one so bad to place in my bedroom and read a book while drinking my cup of tea.
