Miller Me for my Dad. We lost my Mom last year. She collected gorgeous antiques from all over the world and favored more traditional English pieces and wouldn’t “allow” my dad to add a Eames chair to their collection because it wasn’t her style and she couldn’t get over that they were made of “particle board!”. Yup, she was a spit fire! My Dad has been looking at making some life changes (moving closer to us and selling a traditinal home and buying a post-modern atomic ranch) and I can think of nothing better than a gifted surprise Eames chair from his kids to kick start what is sure to be an emotionally challenging, yet healthy change for him. Over the years he has purchased many Eames books and longed for a chair. Please Miller Me for my Dad!
