Fab Freebie: Pump Up The Volume

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries***

I’m gonna bust out some flashback lingo from YHL circa 2008: prepare to swoon. This week’s giveaway is from our lovely sponsor Jessica Rose at Vol. 25, home to some of the most charming art around. I mean, how can you not fall for these robotic lovebirds?

Vol25 Robots

The great thing is that Jessica’s artwork comes in the form of prints, t-shirts, rubber stamps, mouse pads, books and even photoshop overlays (so you can add a little hand-drawn flare to a photo). And since we couldn’t even begin to pick just a few favorite items for the giveaway, Jessica’s hooking up TWO of you with $50 gift cards towards anything in her shop (plus there’s a discount awaiting everyone on Thursday so stay tuned for that). Now you that know what’s up for grabs – how ’bout some more eye candy?

Vol25 Bicycle

Vol25 Typewriter

And here are all the contest deets:

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift certificate towards anything from Vol. 25’s shops on Etsy or Zazzle.
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with either the words “PUMP IT UP” or “TURN IT DOWN” depending on…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … whether you love a loud and lively lifestyle or you prefer to keep things quiet and peaceful. Do you feel better surrounded by lots of activity, energizing music, or boisterous laughter? Or would you rather find yourself in an intimate conversation, enjoying soothing nature sounds, or quietly reading a book?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 21th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: TWO
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Anywhere in the world! Woo to the hoo.
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday. Good luck!

PUMP IT UP And TURN IT DOWN
After spending the last month planning showers, going to showers, going to weddings and bachlorette parties and doing a lanscaping overhaul, I’ve realized I’d like to Turn it down! Normally though, I’m happy pumping it up and filling our lives with our friends and family!

I don’t think that I could go a day without one of the kids or the hubs laughing, yelling, and being loud and boisterous! Love it!

Pump it up on the weekdays! Turn it down on weekends! I just a week ago moved into town but my parents aren’t too far away surrounded by trees and quite nature life, so on weekdays I walk around town to do my errands (save on gas!) and on weekends I walk the trails around their house, its nice to just relax in their yard but I also love being surrounded by people and socializing; say, at a crazy busy starbucks!

    Turn it down!

I’m a single mom and our daily life is full of energy. Some of the best times are at the end of the day when we curl up at bedtime and I read to them.

I commented not so much to win (although that would be awesome!) but to thank you for highlighting Jessica’s beautiful art. I fell in love with 2 prints and purchased them as a little gift to myself.

I kind of fall in between – I like commotion and noise because it makes me feel alive, but there are definitely times that a little quiet goes a long way!

PUMP IT UP! & TURN IT DOWN!

Most of the time I like to be around a lot of activity! I have a loud family and friends, I work in the city, and just enjoy people laughing and having a good time. At the same time there is nothing like sitting somewhere quiet with a good book and no distractions! :)

I love it when it’s a song that induces the snoopy happy dance. Can’t go wrong with that especially if bambino is jamming along as well. Right now I’m digging on The Phenomenal Handclap Band “15-20 (feat. Lady Tigra)” & The Go Team! “Huddle Formation.”
