I have a lucky necklace – I wear it for job interviews and really stressful meetings at work. It may not always get me exactly what I want but things alwasy work out better than I expect when I wear it (I don’t wear it often though in case I “use up” the luck).

My lucky charm is a stuffed Ragedy Ann and Andy my parents gave me when I was 1 and in the hospital. They bought them in the gift shop downstairs and gave them to me. The next day, things turned around and I slowly recovered. I have kept them ever since :)

I can hear my husband already laughing at the word “ritual” I have SEVERAL of them and I think 99.9% of them annoy him, but hey, you know what they say, “Love is blind” Ha! I don’t know where to being so I will just go with one that I think goes perfectly with the gift give away…I have this obsession with things looking just right in the house. My husband would say that it is like “living in a museum” but that is a bit dramatic!
I have to have the pillows in our living room perfectly placed in each corner! With that being said, I love, love, love the blue pillows! We just renovated our house and they would go perfectly with our new space.

I use to have a lucky ritual when I competed in swimming. It was more or less something that made me feel calm. As for the pillows, any of the turquoise/aqua Kelly Wearstler pillows or the Schumacher Lace Cushion in Aqua. Lovely!

I hate to disappoint, but I really don’t have any good luck rituals or charms. This is perhaps ironic, since I definitely believe in luck, I just don’t believe in lucky charms (other than the cereal, which is definitely magically delicious!).
As far as the pillows go, I love the large green flower and the large purple flower. Both are adorable!

The only weird thing I’m doing right now, which is REALLY weird as far as I’m concerned, is carrying around this little packet of lentils which is supposed to bring good financial luck. My mother-in-law is over-the-top superstitious and she instructed us to do this little lentil ritual. The last step of the ritual is to carry around these lentils in your wallet where your money would be. We’ll see how it works… :)
