Fab Freebie: Party Time

The randomly selected party girl (or guy) this week is… Mackenzie (who said “In 2 weeks I am attending a welcome home party for the return of two very close friends who just got done completing service in The Dominican Republic through The Peace Corp!”). Congrats!

Clara’s turning three in two short weeks, which means our minds are shifting into birthday party mode. And to get the celebration started early, we’re dishing out $500 worth of festive party supplies to one lucky winner. First we have $250 to SmashCake And Co, where you can stock up on everything from pretty paper straws to milk glass cake stands.

Next up is $150 to spend at Lindsay Letters, a shop full of beautifully handwritten prints, canvasses, stamps, and other dreamy goodies. She has a whole section labelled for babies and kids, but don’t let that hold you back from hanging her stuff in an adult space (we think it would look good anywhere).

And finally we’ve got $100 to spent at Dino Cape, where Clara got one of her favorite accessories. We bought her a cape from this Etsy vendor because of her recent fascination with dragons (they’re kinda like dinosaurs, right?) and she’s obsessed with it. A hundred bucks to spend there is enough to score some for your kiddos/nieces/nephews – or a matching pair for you and your spouse’s next Game Of Thrones themed costume party.

    PARTY TIME! Our second daughter turned three on the 19th and would be so cute in the dino cape. Her favorite song is the Stegosaurus Song:

    “My Name is Stegosaurus, I’m a funny lookin’ dinosaur.
    On my back are many bony plates and on my tail there’s more. Sometimes another dinosaur comes by and wants to fight! [put up your dukes]

    PARTY TIME!!!! We’re hosting my brother-in-law and future sister-in-law’s engagement party at our house this weekend. It’s a luau!! Can’t wait. Then we have my godson’s first bday party and he would LOVE one of those capes!!

    Party Time!! My cousin graduates high school in a few weeks, so we’re having a big party the Saturday before Mother’s Day, then I get to see my Mom and Stepmom and both my grandma’s for Mother’s Day, so I’m excited about that weekend :)

    We are leaving for Mexico on Friday for our ‘second honeymoon’ – we had the trip planned for this time last year but hubby was struck by a mysterious illness that had him hospitalized for 8 days. So thankful that he is fully recovered & very much looking forward to celebrating with him!

    My Birthday is next week, mothers day the following weekend, my bachelorette party the next weekend, I will be hosting my bridesmaid luncheon at my house in a month, our wedding is in 1 month from tomorrow and then we will be hosting a housewarming party after that :) Whew party time in this girls life :)
